Emma is responsible for making sure all the numbers add up and all the bills get paid. She sees her role with Mowgli Mentoring (now The Human Edge) as the perfect marriage of her two passions: finance and positive social change.
After graduating Emma worked for a few years with multinational energy companies gaining a good grounding in financial controls and procedures before moving to Italy in 2012. During this time Emma volunteered for a small NGO where she discovered her passion for working with organisations contributing to positive social impact. Since returning to the UK Emma has continued to work and volunteer in this field with non-profits specialising in healthcare and disabilities.
Having seen first-hand the benefit and impact of mentoring for social change, Emma was delighted to join the Mowgli Mentoring (now The Human Edge) team in November 2019 to help support the growth of the organisation to achieve its purpose of ‘unlocking human potential to accelerate economic progress and social change’.
Emma is an avid yoga practitioner and when she is not busy perfecting her lotus or reconciling bank statements, she can be found hiking across the countryside, with her nose in a book or cooking up delicious Italian food.
