Meryl joined Mowgli Mentoring (now The Human Edge) as Project Manager in October 2021. She works on the MAVA Leaders for Nature Academy, an intergenerational leadership programme that enables participants to produce bolder, more creative and innovative actions to address our environmental challenges.
Having studied social work and obtained a Masters in International Development, she has a deep interest in working with communities from both a grassroots and operational perspective. She is thrilled to combine the best of both worlds by managing meaningful projects with Mowgli Mentoring (now The Human Edge).
Prior to joining Mowgli Mentoring (now The Human Edge), Meryl worked on humanitarian projects with refugees in Morocco, Lebanon and Greece before moving to London where she worked for a UK charity, managing an integration project connecting refugees, asylum seekers and locals.
Although she is a true city girl, she loves nature and is happiest surfing in the ocean or hiking in the mountains, two passions that feed her addiction to travel.
