Alicja has been with Mowgli Mentoring (now The Human Edge) since February 2009, making her one of the organisation’s longest serving team members. Within the team previously, Alicja was responsible for the operations and administration of all aspects of the unique Mowgli Mentoring (now The Human Edge) Experience (MME) programmes as well as supporting the members of the Mowgli Family Network (alumni). To consolidate her Mowgli Mentoring (now The Human Edge) project management experience, she obtained an industry standard Prince 2 Certificate in Project Management in 2013.
Since 2020, following her second maternity leave, she re-joined the team as a Curriculum Manager to re-accredit the Mowgli Mentoring (now The Human Edge) Syllabus from foundation to practitioner level with the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC) and to oversee the development of user-focused curricula to meet our clients evolving needs.
Prior to joining Mowgli Mentoring (now The Human Edge), she worked as a campaign researcher for a London based international NGO called Global Witness as well as Article XIX Freedom of Expression. Within both of these roles her research contributed to the publication of 2 reports.
Alicja is originally from the south of Poland where from an early age she competed as a skier and studied languages.
